SSP Anantnag Reviews Training, Operations and Investigation Performance of PSIs

Anantnag, September 5 (KNC):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag, Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, on Saturday chaired a review meeting with Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) at the District Police Office (DPO) Anantnag, focusing on training, operational preparedness and the quality of ongoing investigations.

 

During the meeting, the SSP conducted a detailed assessment of investigations being handled by the PSIs and reviewed the progress of pending cases. He stressed the importance of timely disposal of investigations while ensuring that all legal procedures and prescribed guidelines are strictly followed.

 

The SSP also reviewed the operational preparedness and field performance of the officers. He emphasised the need for maintaining a high level of alertness, ensuring effective response mechanisms and taking prompt and appropriate action during different situations.

 

Training requirements of the PSIs were also discussed during the meeting. The SSP highlighted the importance of continuous professional development and directed officers to strengthen their knowledge of legal procedures, investigation techniques and operational practices.

 

Shri Nagpure instructed the officers to maintain the highest standards of professionalism while discharging their duties. He further emphasised effective supervision, accountability and continuous improvement in performance.

 

The SSP directed the PSIs to remain focused on the three key areas of training, operations and investigation, stating that strengthening these areas was essential for improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of policing in the district.

 

He called upon the officers to perform their responsibilities with dedication, discipline and professionalism while ensuring that investigations and field duties are carried out efficiently and in accordance with the law.(KNC)
