hours,” a department official said. The minimum
temperature in Srinagar was 1.2 degrees Celsius
while in Pahalgam it was minus 7.3 degrees
Celsius. Leh was the coldest at minus 10.7
degrees Celsius while Kargil recorded minus 8.
Jammu city recorded 8.8, Katra 9.4, Batote 4.2,
Bannihal 5.2, Bhaderwah 1.9 and Udhampur 6.1
degrees Celsius as the night’s lowest
temperatures.
